Spicy Subscriptions Deluxe Box Review February 2013

***This is a PG review of an adult subscription box.  The content is not lewd, but the products are for adult purposes.***

This is my first Spicy box and I have been looking forward to this box all month!  Its an adult themed box and comes in two different levels.  Premium is $24.95/month and the Deluxe is $34.95/month.

Yay!  I was really excited for the Valentine's Day box.  I had high expectations for an adult box on the most romantic of holidays.

Annoyingly, when I upload it rotates my pictures.  Hopefully as I use this more, I'll figure out all these quirks, until then bear with me!

 The stated value is $64.99

I immediately look for my Deluxe items as that's for sure the most exciting part!

Ben Wa Balls!  Yes, these are the same things that were in fifty shades of gray.  I read up on them after seeing them in my box and they are fantastic for strengthening you Kegel muscles which make "everything" so much better!

These are the samples that are included in this months box.

Rose petals.  I thought this item was kind of lame as there are hardly enough petals included to make it look like a romantic gesture.  It would look more like someone didn't clean up good enough.  Dona does have other great products though that are worth checking out.

Warming massage pad. This is a very neat item, but it is marketed for a massage tool.  I have two of these that are hand warmers for skiing.  I've seen items like this also sold in malls as heating pads.  You bend the little disk inside and the pack gets immediately hot.  When done, you wrap in a towel and boil for ten minutes or so.  Then you can reuse.

These are the full size products that are included.  Body icing, coochy spray, and max control.  The body icing is self explanatory, the coochy spray is for use after shaving, and the max control is for men to help prolong their fun.

I am very pleased with my first box.  I have three more months in my subscription and am unsure if I will continue it beyond that, these next few months will have to really sell me!

**I just happened to read another review of the Premium box right before I got mine.  I was confused as to why the Premium box reviewed had pretty much the same items that I received.  I wrote to their customer service and had a response within ten minutes.  That's fantastic customer service in my opinion and definitely makes my experience with them so much sweeter!

Klutchbox Best of Box Valentine's Day Edition

Klutchclub is a site that sends out monthly boxes of healthy items such as snacks, make up, all natural stress reducers, and items that promote exercise and healthy living.  They have a men's box and a women's box.

Let me start off by saying that this is not a box that I would normally subscribe to.  However, I got this for shipping only ($8) and it is usually $17 + $8 for shipping (total of $25). The signature box is $10 plus $8 for shipping.  This box contained $100 retail of products.

This box is the size of a shoebox, but it was filled to the brim with items!

I'm not going to go into really thorough detail here, but as you can tell, there are so many things here.  Some of the items include, dry shampoo, eyeliner, lip balm, soap, three different drinks that help calm and soothe.  There was also, mud mask, a hair tie, tea and truvia samples. The hemp hearts are great to sprinkle over a salad.  There were two media items, a calming CD featuring Enya and a sampler from Acacia featuring different work outs to try.   One of the most valuable items is a $50 credit to itrain.  You can download audio workouts to play over your mp3 player.  This sounds like a fun tool that I will try at the gym.

Overall, for $8.00 the products were worth it.  However, I probably wouldn't buy any of these items on my own.  But, I'm not the target audience.  I like to be healthy, but this isn't my cup of tea!

Stork Stack February 2013 Review

Stork Stack is a monthly subscription box that is geared toward babies/toddlers from mom's third trimester to babies 3rd birthday.  They curate the boxes based on the age of the child so that the items are always applicable to their development.  There are monthly themes that are followed and this month is "Animal Friends".

I have been receiving the Stork Stack monthly Subscription box for 8 months now and I have never been disappointed.  I have used/gifted everything and I am constantly amazed at the value that is loaded in these boxes.  I have subscribed to Citrus Lane, Petite Box (out of business), and Stork Stack and the Stack is always my favorite.  The box costs $28/month and that includes shipping.  One of the unique things I love about Stork Stack is that they give back to those in need by donating stacks.

They used to put tacky crinkled paper strips in each box.  So glad they don't do this anymore!  Such a mess.

As you can see, lots of great items for the price.

Tiny Fruits by Little Duck Organics.
These are so yummy, I don't want to share with him.  :-) True price $3.49 (lowest price I found online)

Melissa and Doug stacking toy ($12.99)
I love this item!  such a unique twist on the regular stacking toys. My little one has been playing with this nonstop.

These are just samples that were added.  My husband drank the Natural Energy one and thought it was disgusting. To each his own!

TheraPearl Pals ($5.99).
The idea is cute, and the product explains itself.  I'm sure as my toddler gets banged up more and more as he gets more adventurous, we will get a lot of use out of this

BabyLegs Legwarmers ($12.00)
I love these, but honestly, my 1 and a 1/2 year old is out of this phase.  I will keep them for my next baby, but not a fan personally for a toddler.

The total value of this box was around $35.00. This box is geared toward my 16 month old boy.  Others with younger/older children would have gotten different items.  They also are sure to include gender neutral or items for a boy.  Overall, I am very pleased as usual!!!
