POPSUGAR Must Have is a monthly subscription service that sends out at least $100 in items for $35/month with shipping included. The idea is to send a must have for fashion, fitness, home, beauty and food. Although not all of these categories are included every month. This is my second box with them and I absolutely loved both of them. However, they got a lot of negative feedback on this box because the One Size Fits All, doesn't usually fit all. Many people were not able to take advantage of two of the items. I do know that they promised to send out extra goodies to those that complained to be sent out separately. Click here to join!
The box looked very appropriate for a Valentine's Day theme.
I don't know what happened to the other pictures I took of this box, so I'll have to write my review off of this overview. The Hanky Panky thong is one size fits most. However, like my negative feedback to PS, it doesn't fit me. Its too big and sags pretty badly. This item is unusable for me. It retails for $20. There was also a coupon for 15% off at HankyPanky.com and a free Zoya polish with any purchase. A lot of people love Hanky Panky, myself included, but a one sized item, does not do them justice.
The Book Safe Haven was included along with a free download of a song. I had just read this book (for a book club) and I hated it. Terrible. But, they can't cater to everyone :-) The Chocolates that were included were a dark chocolate pearl and they had crunchies inside. Delish! They also threw in conversation hearts to round out the vday theme.
Brokedown spa wrap. This item retails for $84 and is still listed as pre-sale. Getting this item before anyone else was an added perk. However, again this was a one size fits most item. I am 5'3" and 115 pounds and although it is stretchy, it is definitely not long enough. It either covers my chest or my butt, but never both. This is not an item I would buy myself for sure, but that just adds to the luxury of it.
Jewelry cleaner. I just used this and it works well. I needed some so it was a nice surprise!
Overall, this box was definitely worth the $35 as far as value is concerned, but I know it made waves in the PS community based on the one size items making those that can't wear them feel ripped off. I am still waiting to hear back, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I hear that some people get a response right away and some have to wait weeks. I had a watch break from my January box and I never heard from them, they just sent a replacement. Oh well! I will continue to look forward to this box every month!
